...Filled with Christmas Carols, holiday movies and all around happiness? Yea, me too but unfortunately I think we have all gotten so unbelievably greedy, and the worst part is that no one seems to notice, or maybe we do notice but just don't care. I know its a few days post Christmas but I have a story that I just have to share.
I work in a retail store to pay my way through college, anyway this woman comes to the return line and says "I can't believe these gifts! My daughter gave a list of all the things that she wanted and they give her this garbage. It's disgraceful!" It was then that I had a 'I want to slap this bitch' moment. Her comment was unbelievable! I wanted to tell her 'I think YOUR disgraceful lady!' Have we really gotten this bad as a society? The reality is no one had to give her daughter anything for Christmas because it is HER daughter not theirs. The fact is that her family or friends took time (even if just for a second) to think about her daughter and to me that is very special.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that no one is as DISGRACEFUL as this one woman was. :)

That was extremely rude. I have worked hard with my kids to smile and tell everyone thank you whether they like a gift or not, or if they get something they already have. We only had one gift that my son already had and I saw him smile and tell his cousin thank you. When we got in the car he got a big hug for his thoughtfulness.
